Brides & Formals
Brides & Bridal Parties
We are so excited for your upcoming big day, and we are thrilled you are considering us for your Wedding day glow.
Here are out top tips to get the best out of your big day glow:
Book a trial at the very least 1 month out from your Wedding, it gives the trial tan time to completely fade off (along with the correct preparation) and a fresh canvas for the perfect wedding day tan. A great occasion to book a trial is for your Hens Party.
Prep prep prep. Visit our prep & aftercare page for all the detailed info we suggest in the lead up and post tan. This is also emailed to you when booking, we highly suggest forwarding this onto your bridal party.
Stay out of the sun! Avoid any baking or sunburn in the lead up to your wedding, peeling, patchy or sunburnt skin isn't a great canvas to create a flawless wedding glow.
Scroll our Insta and screenshot colours you like, that way we can get a detailed idea of what look you are going for. Our Wedding Day favourites are Bella Bronze Mocha & Nikki Mitchell Original.
We suggest tanning 2 days prior to your big day, Thursday for a Saturday Wedding as an example. It gives the tan plenty of time to fully develop and for the bronzers to die down, meaning it photographs glowy and natural.
The more the merrier. We love having Wedding parties in the salon, its always a fun occasion (and don't forget the Mother of the Bride). Contact us to make booking a group a breeze.
We specialise in giving you a natural glowy face, however check with your makeup artist if they have a preference on your face being sprayed.
We highly suggest avoiding any vigorous exercise or swimming in the 24 hours following your tan. So here is a great excuse to have a rest day!
Tan transfer can occur on the inside of boned wedding dresses (where it's rubbing on your skin), this generally comes off when having your dress dry cleaned after your big day.
If you are having a Destination Wedding and need to tan prior to the 2 days, please get in touch to discuss our recommendations, we can't promise we won't try and sneak into your suitcase!
If you are headed away on your honeymoon straight after your wedding, don't forget to buy a tan extender in salon, a great way to prolong your glow whilst you are away.
Formals
We love formals here at STC! We are here to give you that precise glow to show off your gown.

We suggest tanning 2 days prior, Thursday for a Saturday Formal as an example. It gives the tan plenty of time to fully develop and for the bronzers to die down, meaning it photographs glowy and natural, opposed to bronzy and dirty. In saying that, if you have any type of sport activity between your tan and your formal, then time your tan AFTER this.
We specialise in giving you a natural glowy face, however check with your makeup artist if they have a preference on your face being sprayed.
We highly suggest avoiding any vigorous exercise or swimming in the 24 hours following your tan. We can't write you a note to get you out of P.E but we can suggest taking it super easy ie. no sweating.
Tan transfer can occur on the inside of boned formal dresses (where it's rubbing on your skin), this generally comes off when having your dress dry cleaned however please keep this in mind if hiring a dress.
If you are having taking any skin medication (Roaccutance etc) please detail this in the booking notes so we can ensure we recommend the best product to suit.
Formal nights in the salon are generally fully booked. We are so grateful to our loyal clients who keep us busy. This doesn't allow for much movement when it comes to arriving late, we will always do our best to accomodate you however please note if you are more than 5 minutes late to your appointment, given our booking slots are only 15 minutes, there may be a chance we won't be able to fit you in.
